OCTIA is hosting regular (virtual) events to educate the sector about current issues such as new government support programs and financing mechanisms. Other events spotlight our members and are aimed at connecting buyers and investors with cleantech solution providers. We are also organizing a regular cleantech social in collaboration with CanadaCleantech Alliance, CSI Climate Ventures and CleantechNorth.
OCTIA has recently been selected as a Partner Accelerator by Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC). As a Partner Accelerator, OCTIA can nominate companies for SDTC's seed funding rounds. The first seed funding round is launching on September 6, with a nomination deadline on September 15 and an application deadline for nominated companies on September 29.
