"Class Is In Session" will feature guest speakers from across the GTA, ranging from climate activists, professionals in the environmental field and youth living in the GTA. Through a simulated classroom experience, TYEC brings a new twist to the concept of environmental education.

Toronto Youth Environmental Council, an entirely youth-led non-profit organization, is a prominent environmental group that has been bringing high school students together in the GTA since 2013. This year, we will be hosting our first in-person youth conference!

Join TYEC for an afternoon filled with hands-on activities, panels where YOU ask the questions and a chance to network with environment-minded youth and professionals just like you.

Volunteer hours will be provided for attendees if desired. All ages are welcome to attend but speaker workshops are targeted towards youth in the GTA interested in environmental issues and activism.
