TABLE TOPICS

Welcome to #elxn44!

We started Table Topics during the run up to the 2019 election to get youth comfortable with talking about politics over dinner. As we've been saying, (with research to back it up) the more youth know about politics, the more likely they are to be active, engaged, and VOTING citizens. That's our mission with this election and every election. MORE YOUTH AT THE POLLS. We're hardwired to make sh*t happen and we believe this generation is ready to lead. We might be a little biased but seriously! With more of US involved, we'll build a more just and equitable society for everyone. We can do that right now by voting!

To make that whole democratic engagement thing more appropriate for the 21st century, some brilliant young minds are using tech and innovation to change the game. We're assembling a few of them for our panel to talk about their work, how they came up with it, why we need it and what else could we be doing to make voting more youth friendly.

How it works

If you're a youth in Canada (18-30) and want to join us for dinner with a side of democracy, sign up with the form and then hop on our big Zoom party on September 8 to join the conversation. NOTE: There will be breakout rooms so be prepared to mix and mingle with other young folks from across the country.

Here's a conversation menu to get you started.
