Beyond Gas: Organizing Kick-Off

Join Dogwood's summer kick-off to learn about our organizing plans for 2022!

As we approach the grim one-year anniversary of B.C.'s deadly heat dome, the B.C. government is still failing to act at the scale required to protect us from the worst of the climate crisis.

That's why on June 8th, we're hosting a province-wide organizing call for anyone who wants to take action on climate with Dogwood.

We will lay out our big plans to change the conversation about B.C.'s energy future and win the kind of climate action we can’t delay any further.

Hosted by Dogwood organizer Paige Gorsak and featuring four fantastic guests:

  • Peter McCartney from Wilderness Committee

  • Deborah Curry from the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment

  • Stephen Thomas from David Suzuki Foundation

  • Natasha Edmunds from West Kootenay Eco-Society

RSVP now to secure your spot using the tab above. And be sure to invite your friends -- this event is crucial to ensuring that our community goes from being climate worriers to climate activists.
