Sustainability and Environmental Justice Portfolio @ Engineers Without Borders University of Toronto

Sustainability and Environmental Justice at Engineers Without Borders UofT works to enhance sustainability and climate action in the Faculty of Engineering, the University of Toronto campus and in our city at large. Our team of UofT students hosts events and advocates for sustainability education in the Faculty of Engineering and climate action in Toronto.

We take a broad interest in all things environmental, sustainable, and climate-related, and take up about six projects in these fields each year. 2021-2022 projects include promoting sustainability content in first-year engineering design courses, running learning sessions on issues relevant to our mission, and empowering students to understand and promote green policies at the municipal and provincial level.'

Within sustainability and environmental justice, we take a special interest in climate change. We conduct projects that strive towards measurable emissions reductions and focus our awareness efforts on climate-related issues.
