Scarborough Zero Waste

Our group’s mission is to reduce waste in Scarborough by organizing community clean ups to make our part of the city cleaner. The second part of our mission is to reach out to schools, businesses and event organizers to encourage them to implement strategies to help them produce less waste while playing a key role to bring people together. Lastly, SZW is organizing workshops to promote waste literacy so that the consumerist culture could hopefully change.
