Join us on World Environment Day, at the launch of Our Climate, Our Stories, an illustrated anthology of climate stories from racially and ethnically diverse Canadian Youth.

The book features twenty dynamic stories of racially and ethnically diverse Canadian youth. It is a product of a creative writing competition that was launched by People Planet Pages Book Club, with funding from the Rising Youth Grant, to provide a platform for diverse climate stories as told by the BIPOC youth of Canada.

The Launch event will feature a keynote speech, live performances, and book reading by three authors who will also be in discussion with Gauri Sreenivasan, Director of Policy and Campaigns at Nature Canada, and will take audience questions.

About the Book: Our Climate, Our Stories is a product of People Planet Pages, an online Book Club run in partnership with 3 Canadian organizations: BAM Collective, EnviroMuslims and Community Climate Council.

Our Climate, our Stories incorporates elements of visual storytelling in the form of vibrant and colorful illustrations of the stories. These illustrations were provided by Climate illustrated through their team of illustrators and designers.

You can access the free Book here!

This event will be hosted on Zoom. Limited seats are available for the Launch Event! The live stream link will be sent over email one hour before the start of the event.
