As the academic year comes to a close, we’re excited to announce a TRIA TALKS episode with one of our favourite educational initiatives.
On Tuesday, June 29 at 1:00 pm ET, we’ll be live in conversation with some of the visionary folks working with EcoSchools Canada.
EcoSchools offers a certification program for K-12 schools that nurture environmental learning and climate action.
We’re looking forward to hearing how the great work of EcoSchools Canada promotes environmental leadership among youth, reduces the ecological impact of schools, and builds sustainable school communities.
Please join us and our panel:
Lindsay Bunce - Executive Director, EcoSchools Canada
Geoff MacDonald, Interim Executive Director, The Gaia Project, a charitable organization that works to empower youth to take action on climate change
Maggie Muzhi Chang, Post Secondary Advisor, EcoSchools' Youth Advisory Committee
Boluwatife Ogunniyi, former member of EcoSchools’ Youth Advisory Council
As part of TRIA’s own commitment to the environment, the carbon footprint of each episode of TRIA TALKS will be offset through the Carbon Zero Certification program, in partnership with @carbonzeroca.
