Training: How to Deep Canvass

Learn how to deep canvass and change hearts and minds on climate justice, right here in B.C.!

We believe that to win on climate, we have to start talking to everyone. With thousands of people feeling unprecedented despair and cynicism about the climate crisis, it’s time to stop making assumptions about who is on our side and make our case to absolutely everyone. To do this effectively, we will have to take the time to listen -- even to those who might disagree with us.

That's what deep canvassing is all about.

Join Dogwood on June 21 to learn how you can use compassion and curiosity to change people's minds on climate. By moving away from facts and opinions into storytelling that gets at the heart of the issues that divide us, we can overcome polarization, apathy, and climate despair. THIS is how we build people power. THIS is how we win change on climate at the scale and pace we need.

At this training you'll receive training, scripts, tracking sheets and best practices to get out in the world and start moving people towards action. You'll also be connected with fellow volunteers in your region who can work with you to get started.

No prior experience is needed! Join us!
