Time4Action Green Jobs, Just Transition

Time4Action Feb 17 Green Jobs Poster.001.jpeg

The stone age didn’t end because we ran out of stones. We haven’t run out of oil, gas, and coal either, but it’s time to move to cleaner, greener technologies. Fossil-fuel emissions are by far the main cause of the climate crisis.

But what happens to the fossil-fuel workers? And their communities? We know that Big Oil and its spokespeople like Jason Kenney will use workers’ fears to create a backlash to change. Our guests this week will discuss the creation of green jobs and the need for a just transition with training and re-training for all those who need it.
