Taste of Regent Park

  • 40 Oak Street 40 Oak Street Toronto, ON, M5A 2C6 Canada (map)

Amid the COVID-19 outbreak, CRC Fred Victor has had to adapt many of our programs and services to put the health and well-being of our participants, community members and staff first. We are excited to announce that starting next Wednesday, July 8th, 2020 we will be hosting our first week of a modified version of Taste of Regent Park, out front our 40 Oak St. site!

From July 8th to August 26th, we will host 8 different Community Catering groups who will offer a Free Take-Out Community Meal from 6-7pm out front of the CRC building, instead of the Big Park. We have also continued our partnership with Regent Park Film Festival - Under the Stars to offer a virtual movie screening during our August event dates.

We are asking that all attendees respect social distancing guidelines and wear a mask when lining up and picking up a meal.

The Taste of Regent Park is an event which celebrates the vibrancy of the Regent Park neighborhood, creates opportunity to support the skills and culinary talent of local and culturally diverse chefs, caterers and artisans and animate public spaces. While this year's event format will take place in a scaled down version, we still hope to continue to keep the spirit of the Taste of Regent Park alive through delicious food and community spirit in a safe and responsible manner.

Our Community Caterers this week are Roshna and Roksana dishing out delicious Bengali food you won't want to miss!
