Student Divestment Virtual Rally to #DefundLine3

Our colleges and universities are funding the construction of the Line 3 oil pipeline.

Line 3 is a tar sands oil pipeline that threatens land, water, and Indigenous sovereignty, and it will contribute to global climate catastrophe. Construction of the pipeline began at the end of last year, but the movement to stop Line 3 is not backing down. While Indigenous-led resistance has stopped construction every week on the frontlines, the climate finance movement is calling on banks, asset managers, and all financial institutions to #DefundLine3.

Join us on March 5th for the Student Divestment Virtual Rally to #DefundLine3. Together, we’ll call out our institutions’ investments in this catastrophic project and take action to target the financiering of Line 3. We need to cut off the money pipeline that’s funding the fossil fuel industry. We need to #StopLine3
