Shoreline Virtual Screening + Live Q&A

Join A Greener Future and Barbet for an exclusive virtual film screening of SHORELINE: The Paddle Against Plastic followed by a live Q&A. To celebrate Dry Feb Barbet is curating a number of fun events and activities throughout the month, and because we have a loving partnership with Barbet, they asked us to help host a night to remember! We hope you'll leave this event feeling refreshed and hopeful about the work being done to reduce plastic pollution in the Great Lakes.

SHORELINE: The Paddle Against Plastic is an environmental documentary that highlights the problem of plastic pollution in the Great Lakes. The story follows A Greener Future’s Executive Director, Rochelle Byrne, as she embarks on a 430km paddle journey across Lake Ontario to raise awareness about the impact of plastic on the environment under the looming shadow of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The film highlights the intersections between recreation and environmental stewardship, showing the impact just one person can make with enough determination. With passion and perseverance as the drivers of her paddling journey, Rochelle has taken the same approach to tackle environmental issues.

After registration, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions and a link to join the event.

Purchase some Barbet for the show here and 3¢ per can will be donated to AGF at checkout! Every cent goes directly toward our Love Your Lakes program.
