Join us for our very first REmarket!

REPAIR, LEARN, SWAP, DROP OFF, DONATE & SHOP to radically REDUCE WASTE in our daily lives. - Practice going circular!

Roncesvalles United Church Parking lot, 240 Roncesvalles Avenue (inside in case of rain)
We have tons of wonderful partners and contributors for this event, working hard to create the following exciting offerings:

REPAIR
- Visit the Repair Café to get an expert consultation on how to fix your broken household item, toy & more!
- Have a bike problem? - Stop by Fix Coffee + Bikes' bike clinic.
- Shirt missing a button? Small tear needs to be stitched up? Frayed hems or holes in seams? Stop by at the small mending-by-hand clinic.

LEARN
Get to know cutting-edge return/ reuse businesses incl. Circulr, Muuse, PACKT, Suppli, Inwit.
Visit the City of Toronto's Reducing Single-Use Program - sign up if you are a business!
Learn where you can takeout & shop waste-free on Roncesvalles using BYO containers, bags, cups & jars.
Learn about Too Good TO GO - the food waste reduction app that turns surplus restaurant, bakery and grocery food into surprise meals!
Visit TEA and the Reusable TO initiative - to help get the city ready for the plastic ban.
Learn about vermicomposting - by Greenest City.
Learn how to turn your yard into a home for pollinators & song birds by planting native flowers – by Project Swallowtail.

SWAP
Teen Clothing Swap! Help slow down fast fashion - bring a couple, find a few cool teen clothing items!

DROP OFF
Electronics at Free Geek Toronto
All unwanted textiles at Clotho INC. including things like ripped socks or towels, but everything must be washed and dry!
No longer needed mason jars & Circulr brands at Circulr.
Empty yogurt containers at RUC’s Dinner for Dignity.
Old prescription glasses at Phila Optical’s collection box.
Dead pens & markers, empty batteries, printer cartridges at the STAPLES collection box.

DONATE
- Warm adult winter clothing for the RUC clothing bank
- Unopened fresh, frozen or pantry food item for the Community Fridge (not home made)
- A non-perishable food item for the Dinner with Dignity offered at the RUC
- Unopened medical supplies (can be expired) to Not Just Tourists
- Used aircasts, prosthetic socks/legs/arms/feet & footwear for Prothetics for Foreign Donation PFFD

SHOP
- Zero-waste back-to-school items from the Ecotique.
- The Source Bulk Foods Roncy.
- Upcycled, locally made, reusable tote bags & zero-waste treats at Roncy Reduces.
- Native plants from Project Swallowtail.
- Upcycled wool and cashmere scarves and blankets by Woolgathering Nat.
