Race, racism, colonialism, white privilege – what does it all mean? In this friendly, introductory workshop, the wonderful educator Rania El Mugammar will help us understand what racism and privilege mean and what all of us – especially white people – can do. 

Open to anybody and everybody, but mainly aimed at folks who are new to these conversations. Whatever stage you’re at with your learning, you are warmly welcome. Come learn with us – and please spread the word to your family and friends.

Rania El Mugammar is a Sudanese artist, liberation educator, abolitionist, anti-oppression consultant, multidisciplinary performer, speaker, and published writer. Her work explores reproductive justice, transformative justice and abolition, art as liberation, and digital justice.

This workshop is offered at no cost. Donations will be requested to community organizations that have Black, Indigenous, and racialized leadership.
