Hey Black Canadians, we know that racialized communities, particularly members of the black community, are most vulnerable to Covid-19. Many systemic factors contribute to this, so let’s talk about them and how we can best protect ourselves and our community.

On August 28th at 3pm, the Racialized Students In Healthcare is hosting a workshop with Dr. Helen Teklemariam, during this event Dr. Helen will be discussing her research on the impacts of Covid-19 on the Black community, impacts on black seniors, vaccine uptake within the black population in Ontario, the efficacy of the approved vaccines, factors that make us (Black people) vulnerable and how we can best protect and inform ourselves.
