Hundreds of people across the country have been urging their MPs to table our just transition petition in the House of Commons. Many of these MPs have responded positively, though some have been more resistant to supporting our demands for a just transition toward a decabonized society.

Join us on February 17th to phone Council of Canadians members in these key ridings, asking them to voice their support for a just transition. Here’s how it will work:
1. Sign up here to be part of the phonebank on February 17th from 6-9pm Eastern. You can join from home, on Zoom, and you’ll need a stable internet connection and a computer with working speakers and microphone.
2. We’ll start the session with some training about how to make phone calls, how to talk about a just transition, and what we’re asking people to do when we get them on the phone.
3. We’ll make calls for about 1 hour, and then debrief together about how it went and what we learned.
