Pathways To Climate Action

In this celebratory final session, we will be inviting students from the international Climate Reality network around the world to join us in an exciting evening of Campus Climate Action Networking!

Following a galvanizing keynote about the power of youth in the climate movement to kick start the session by Fridays for Future Toronto’s founder Aliénor Rougeot, we will have an eco-anxiety workshop highlighting how to transform anxiety & apathy into agency & action. Next up, the focal interactive networking piece of this session has students in conversation (with theme-specific discussion prompts) with each other in several rotating breakout rooms, to discuss various climate related topics under 6 different themes. These will be speed-dating style climate conversations, within small groups, as participants will move on to a different group every 10 minutes – selecting the topics of your preference! ☀️

We are very excited for this final session and hope to see as many of you as possible. Also, as this invitation is open to any university or college student from Canada and beyond, please feel to share this widely, tell your friends and peers about the event, or bring a +1 or +2 !

What concrete action will you be taking after this Summit as your personal commitment to fighting climate change?

Speakers & facilitators: Aliénor Rougeot, international student organizers, Kevin Ka'nahsohon Deer
