Aaron Freeman, Owner of Pivot Strategic Consulting and Founder of GreenPAC, will provide an overview of what the Ontario election means for the mandate of the new Government, and the strategic implications of the new political landscape for the environmental sector, including:

- Where opposition parties will go

Aaron will review upcoming key milestones, lobbying tips and strategies to ensure your issue and organization are well positioned.

Presented by Aaron Freeman

For over 30 years, Aaron Freeman has played a leadership role in developing public policy.

He is the owner and principal of Pivot Strategic Consulting Inc., which helps companies, NGOs, Indigenous organizations, and foundations develop their capacity to solve environmental problems through public policy.

He is also the Founder of GreenPAC, Canada’s non-partisan organization to build environmental leadership in politics. The organization has established the Parliamentary Internship for the Environment (Canada’s only legislative internship program for the environment), and a community-based leadership development program called Every Day Advocates, which coordinates all-candidates meetings on the environment during federal elections.

Aaron is an expert in public governance law, a former senior advisor to then-Premier Dalton McGuinty, and has coordinated several national advocacy campaigns on environment and climate issues.
