Date: Thursday June 26, 2023 at 6pm

Metrolinx and the Ontario provincial government is attempting move forward with building Ontario's largest public infrastructure project without a Community Benefits Agreement in place. The projected $18B Ontario Line subway project which will include 15 new stations between Ontario Science Centre and Exhibition Place will significantly impact on local residents and businesses.

Join us for an update and discussion on the promised Community Benefits Agreement as part of the project. As a community-labour coalition, we are seeking commitments to good local jobs, apprenticeships, professional, administrative and technical careers, social procurement and neighbourhood improvements set out in a formal CBA signed by Metrolinx and project contractors.

We have invited representatives from Metrolinx, local elected officials and key stakeholders to join us for this community town hall.
