This workshop is an activist legal primer on movement defence before, during, and after demonstrations, rallies, or direct actions. It will cover the basics of what to expect when dealing with law enforcement and the criminal (in)justice system. In the current context of escalating surveillance, infiltration, and intimidation, this workshop offers organizers the important legal information needed to know, assert, and defend your legal rights.
