Join us for a fun and informative evening as our guest speaker Joe Mihevc shares stories from his time as a City Councillor that reveal just how important advocating for the environment can be in influencing political decisions. He will also provide advice on how to build a positive and lasting relationship with your local politicians that leads to them showing support for the environmental issues that you care about.

Following Joe’s talk, our own Green Neighbours Network volunteers will be unveiling an exciting new project that will help like-minded neighbours form groups to meet with their own elected officials. These “Green Advocates” will be provided with the resources and guidance to successfully present the issues they care about to their leaders in a way that will inspire change. Further details will be shared during the webinar!
