Earth Day 2025: For the Necessities of Life

  • Allan Gardens north west corner 160 Gerrard Street East Toronto, ON, M5A 2E5 Canada (map)

An interactive event starting with social justice tabling at 1:00 followed by a rally with speakers and entertainment at 2:00.

A colorful, attractive, interactive, galvanizing event, bringing people together under “one big tent” to talk with them about how climate is related to the necessities of life. Speakers will focus on aspects of what we need: a hospitable atmosphere with clean air and water, access to food, housing and work, Indigenous rights and justice for equity seeking groups.

Organizations will talk with participants at the rally - and each other. Children will have a space for their own activities.

There will be street theatre and musical entertainment. We can have a good time while clearly stating our goal.

This in-person event is wheel-chair accessible, This event is kid-friendly and open to all ages.
