Environment Pathways Day

Join us on November 2nd, 2022 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm in the Great Hall at Hart House for Environment Pathways Day! This event is aimed at introducing students to their possible pathways in the environmental sector after graduating. With exhibitors ranging from graduate programs, environmental organizations, NGOs, student groups and more, this event gives students the opportunity to network and chat with representatives from a variety of environmental sectors! The event also includes a series of panels and workshops for students to take part in. Please see the event schedule below for more event details

EVENT SCHEDULE                  

Exhibitor Hall | 10:00 am – 4:00 pm   

The exhibitor hall, in the Great Hall in Hart House, features a number of exhibitors from graduate programs, environmental organizations, NGOs and student groups. Students are invited to ‘drop-in’ to the Great Hall anytime between 10 am – 4 pm to explore the different booths.

Workshop #1 | 10:00 am – 11:00 am         

Hosted by Nadya Bloom from Career Exploration and Education in the Hart House East Common Room. Students will have the opportunity to learn more about navigating their pathways after graduation, be it graduate programs, entering the workforce, and more. 

NOTE: Workshop #1 and #2 have the same content but are held at different times to accommodate for students schedules.

              

Panel Discussion #1 | 11:00 am – 12:00 pm   

Private Sector Panel with Kate Moss Gamblin; Founder of KMG Sustainability Enterprise. 

              

Panel Discussion #2 | 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm     

Public Sector Panel with Rachel Thompson; Senior Policy Advisor, Ontario Ministry of Energy. 

                 

Panel Discussion #3 | 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm   

Doctoral studies/academia panel with Hanna Morris; Professor, School of the Environment. 

                 

Workshop #2 | 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
