Toronto Climate Action Network and Climatefast invite you to this workshop on how to speak up for climate action and the TransformTO Net-Zero Strategy in the upcoming City Budget hearings (Jan 22 & 23).
As the climate and affordability crises worsen, councillors need to know that we want them to fully fund the Net-Zero strategy so that we can reduce harmful emissions, grow the green economy, and advance equity across all sectors - housing, transit, active transportation infrastructure, local renewable energy, green space, and more.
We will hear from Toronto Environmental Alliance experts and participants will learn about the budget process and receive tips on how to depute.
