Day of Action

As politicians gear up for an early federal election, it’s up to us to bring the impacts of climate change front and centre leading up to their campaign trail. On September 8th, 2021 at Queen's Park, while catastrophic climate events continue to erupt around us, Toronto will be demanding emergency-level climate action.

Join a collaboration of different groups, organizations, and people at Queen's Park to call for a moratorium on fossil fuel expansion and just transition legislation. Together, we can show our elected officials that climate change will be a central issue to voters this year as record-breaking climate events ravage communities coast-to-coast.
Bring face masks, friends, and signs as we demand our politicians to muster up the courage to combat the climate crisis. The event will take place from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Our list of speakers will be confirmed closer to the date, and all COVID safety protocols will be adhered to at this event.
