Davenport Virtual Town Hall on the Environment

The June 9th Virtual Town Hall on the Environment with M.P. Julie Dzerowicz builds on the foundation created by the 100 Debates on the Environment presented by GreenPAC in 2019. This initiative inspired a nationwide conversation about environmental leadership and accountability in federal politics.

The Environmental Town Hall is hosted by St. Anne's Anglican Church in partnership with Green Wave West and GreenPAC's Every Day Advocates program.

This hour-long Zoom event will feature three short personal statements by Davenport residents related to the environment, each one followed by a question for M.P Julie. There will also be a time for community questions as raised through the chat function of Zoom.

The town hall will be moderated by Carole Giangrande, St. Anne's parishioner, former CBC broadcast journalist, author, and environmentalist.

Note that this event follows the UN World Environment Day on June 5th and the launch of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration.
