Conservation Youth Corps Pollinator Garden Stewardship

Are you a high school student hoping to obtain community service hours while helping to create habitat, clean the watershed and combat climate change? Join us in Pickering for our Conservation Youth Corps program!

Participants will take part in pollinator garden maintenance and invasive species removal. Meet at the Norfolk Square entrance to the park. Registration is required for this event, walk-ins will not be accepted.

*If you want to volunteer for more than one of the above dates you will need to register for each date separately. Walk-ins will not be accepted. 

What to wear: Long pants, closed-toed shoes, tall socks, hat and sunscreen.

What to bring: Rain protection, bug spray, reusable water bottle and snacks. Gardening gloves and water refill will be available on site.

Cancellation policy: The event will run rain or shine, but will be cancelled if there is a greater than 70% chance of thunderstorm or other hazardous weather. Registrants will be emailed by 7:00am on the morning of the event if there is a cancellation.
