Habitat restoration planting event at Sydenham River Nature Reserve
About this event
Join Ontario Nature's expert biologists to learn about agricultural restoration at the Sydenham River Nature Reserve! Volunteers will assist in native tree and shrub planting.
You can join us for the morning, afternoon, or all day! We are planting up to 750 plants over two weekends to transform fields into what will one day grow to Carolinian forest habitat.
Please bring a refillable bottle, wear long pants and closed toe shoes and if possible try to bring your own gloves and trowels. Please bring your own lunch and Ontario Nature will provide snacks but please bring your own lunch. Portable washroom facilities will be on-site.
Questions? Contact Kayla at kaylas@ontarionature.org or at 1-800-440-2366 ext. 242.
