Biodiversity and Ecosystem Health Technical Briefing

The BC government has recently released the Biodiversity and Ecosystem Health Framework (BEHF). This framework is meant to guide a public consultation process that should lead to a law protecting BC’s biodiversity and ecosystems and we want to make sure it is as strong as possible.

The provincial government is accepting submissions on the BEHF with a deadline of January 15th. It's important that as many groups as possible provide feedback on the framework to signal loud and clear that a strong law come out of this process.

OFC is offering this technical briefing session to support groups in engaging with the public consultation process. We will have a subject matter expert present on the details of BHEF, what we think are strong messages to incorporate into your submissions, and to also take your specific questions.

The presentation portion will be recorded, so if you cannot make this time please do register and we will send the recording along as soon as possible.

If you'd like to opt out of future communications from OFC, please type 'OPT OUT' in the Questions & Comments field in the registration form below.
