Join us for the next #BetterMedicare webinar about Climate and Health. We’ll explore the impacts of climate change on our health, the relationship between our public health care system and the climate crisis, and how we can advocate for change.

The event will be hosted by CDM board member Andriy Katyukha who will be joined by the following panellists:

Samantha Green: a family physician at St. Michael’s Hospital and at Inner City Health Associates in Toronto, Faculty Lead in Climate Change & Health at the University of Toronto’s Department of Family & Community Medicine and board member of the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment

Dylan Penner: Climate and Social Justice Campaigner at the Council of Canadians

Courtney Howard: an Emergency Physician in Yellowknife, in Canada’s subarctic, and a Clinical Associate Professor in the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary. Dr. Howard is a nationally- and globally-recognized expert on the impacts of climate change on health, and in the broader field of planetary health.
