Climate Emergency Declaration in Toronto

On October 2, 2019, Toronto City Council voted unanimously in favour of declaring a Climate Emergency. An Open Letter, endorsed by 62 organizations, some members of TCAN and some allies, provided several recommendations that were incorporated into the motion that was adopted.
