Peace and Social Action Committee (PSAC) is a group of Quakers striving to live in harmony with all creation. As part of our work for peace and justice, PSAC works against climate change and environmental degradation and for sustainable living by hosting public information events, supporting speakers and likeminded groups, and encouraging participation in climate action.
PSAC members have trained with Al Gore, lobbied Parliament and the United States Congress, campaigned against Line 9 across Ontario, supported indigenous groups as they try to control their lands, and participated in ClimateFast in Ottawa. We are concerned with action at local levels and are committed to working on national and international levels.
