- Elizabeth May, Leader of the Green Party of Canada and MP for Saanich-Gulf Islands. She is a former director of the Sierra Club of Canada, was senior policy advisor to the federal Minister of the Environment and Vice-Chair of the National Round Table on Environment and Economy.
- Craig Scott, NDP MP for Toronto-Danforth. As Democratic and Parliamentary Reform Critic for the Official Opposition he has launched a national tour to promote proportional representation. He is a former professor of law and an expert on technology transfer to combat climate change.
- Stéphane Dion, Liberal MP for St Laurent-Cartierville and Liberal Critic for Intergovernmental Affairs. He was formerly: Leader of the Official Opposition; Liberal Leader; and Minister of the Environment. As Minister of the Environment he chaired the UN Conference on Climate Change in Montreal in 2005, where he contributed to the rescue of the Kyoto Protocol.
