Green Neighbours 21 is a grass-roots, action-oriented group of people who live in Ward 21 (and beyond).
Their goal is to engage people to work together to address climate change and related environmental problems by encouraging greener living, and speaking out for government action. They hold monthly meetings, generally with a speaker or film, and organize special events, including an annual eco-fair and all candidates’ meetings at election time. All work is done by volunteers, under the direction of a steering committee, with task groups formed for specific projects.
You can sign up to receive our newsletter (go to www.gn21.ca), attend our meetings and events, volunteer to help out with events or to participate in working groups, and read the fact sheets and blogs on our website.
