A Special Joint Town Hall Meeting: Rail Safety

Wednesday, April 27, 2016 - 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Walmer Road Baptist Church 188 Lowther Ave (Walmer & Lowther), Toronto

Featuring Guest Speaker: Hon. Marc Garneau, Minister of Transport

Canada's railway network is crucial to our economy, transporting more than $280 billion worth of goods annually. We all want a rail industry that supports trade but, more importantly, is safe and secure. Positive steps have been taken but there is still more that needs to be done. This is why the issue of rail safety is the number one priority of the Minister of Transport in the new federal government.

Please join us for a joint community discussion on this important topic, co-hosted by:

Hon. Carolyn  Bennett, MP (Toronto-St. Paul's) and
Hon. Chrystia Freeland, MP (University-Rosedale).

We  are proud  to welcome a special guest  speaker:
Hon. Marc Garneau, MP (Notre-Dame-de-Grace-Westmount) and Minister of Transport
