How to Develop a Neighbourhood Green Plan

Thursday, April 27, 2017 - 6:00pm to 8:30pm

Alexandra Park Community Centre, 105 Grange Court (Gymnasium), Toronto

Green 19 & Green Neighbours 20 invite you to learn about developing a neighbourhood green plan.

Neighbourhood green plans allow communities to work together on projects that slow and mitigate climate change and create more neighbourhood green spaces.

At this event, we'll hear from groups who've created their own neighbourhood green plans about:

  • The process of developing a neighbourhood green plan
  • How these plans can support local initiatives
  • Approaches to community organizing and collaboration
  • Working with the city and city councillors to have plans endorsed and supported

All are welcome to join us for a panel discussion and Q&A.

Green 19 & Green Neighbours 20 are community groups that promote green initiatives and local action addressing climate change in Wards 19 and 20 and the wider city of Toronto. Contact us at and
