CREW Toronto (Creating Resilience to Extreme Weather) is a group of committed volunteers concerned about severe weather associated with climate change. We’re working to help connect Toronto’s residents, households, community organizations, businesses and other stakeholders as they prepare for extreme weather events. We’re building relationships with the City of Toronto, the Red Cross and community groups across the city. To help us reach our goal we hope to launch a variety of projects including a citywide event and the creation of ward profiles mapping the resources that contribute to community resilience during and after an extreme weather event. This is an opportunity to help people in your community (and beyond) face an uncertain future with the best possible response - community resilience! We need your help to make this possible.
