In 2015, we have a chance to make a difference - here in Ontario we have a minister for the environment and climate change, Glen Murray, who over the next six months will be developing a long-term action strategy for Ontario for net-zero carbon by 2050.
We need to get the MPPs at Queen’s Park on board! Come and learn how to talk to your MPP and build this campaign!

Includes presentation on Citizens Climate Lobby and Fee and Dvidend , the success of the BC carbon tax, background of our work with the province.
How to do a climate reality presentation: how to reach those who are resistant - resources and practice
FOR THOSE EXPERIENCED IN CLIMATE LOBBYING (or already active in climate groups)
Strategy session; goals, barriers, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, challenges; develop a workplan for the campaign, including building a provincial network; continuation of process with Glen Murray’s office; planning for lobby day at Queen’s Park.
END WITH JOINT SESSION on provincial campaign organizing and sharing.

COST: We are asking for a donation of $20 (sliding scale, pwyc) for the day, to cover food and other costs
PLEASE NOTE: Friends House offers accommodation, and has space on Friday and Saturday night for those from out of town. Cost is $30 per night. Or ask for a billet. We’d love to see you!
