Hear about two exciting new proposals to make our communities more resilient, and learn how you can help bring these ideas to life.
 
After launching a successful neighbourhood “repair café” last year, Paul Madger now has a bigger idea – a permanent “maker space” and community workshop in Ward 21. Come and learn how it would work and how you can help make it happen.
 
The threat to Toronto from extreme weather has become very real since last summer’s flooding and this winter’s ice storm. Rita Bijon of Green 13 is taking a leading role in creating a city-wide “Climate Resilience Network”. Come and hear about her vision and learn how you can get involved.
